iphone 6 won't make calls on 4g or 3g
my iPhone 6 will not make or receive calls when I have 3g or 4g service. I have had the phone replaced but it still does not work, I put the sim card in my old phone and it works fine. What should I do?

Did the carrier say it was fine? Or are you guessing? The iPhone 6 is the first iPhone to support Voice over LTE. If you have this turned on in your Settings but your carrier doesn't support it that might be the explanation. Another possibility is that the phone's IMEI is not registered in the carrier's database, or is blocked for some reason. There's more to network availability than the SIM.
I assume that the sim card is good because it works in my old phone but I did not know the iPhone 6 is different from other phones. I can only assume that apple support don't know either, I have had three attempts to fix the software and they concluded the phone needs changing which they kindly did, but I still can't make calls.
I'm having the same problem, can receive texts, use the 4g network for downloading apps internet, but cant receive or make outgoing calls, I called my carrier Telstra Australia and they did say there is problem and it should be fixed by yesterday, the website says it is restored. It is really strange because my sim works in my partners iPhone 5, and a friend has the IPhone 6 plus with Telstra that is working. Any suggestions ??
I even had the same issue after update my iphone 6 plus from 8.3 to 8.4. I tried all the troubleshooting but couldn't succeed. Even vodafone couldn't do much with it so they replaced my fone. The new phone has iso 8.3 and works perfectly fine. I reckon, its the iso update which cause the issue on iphone 6 plus.
Now, I am bit hesitate to upgrade to new version. So have you also upgraded your ios version?
Reboot your phone by holding the HOME and SLEEP buttons at the same time until an Apple logo appears. If that doesn't restore it go to Settings/General/Reset - Reset Network Settings.
As your carrier confirmed this as a network issue, the phone may need resetting to allow it to reacquire the network.
What did your carrier say when you reported the problem to them?
The carrier is fine it works in my old iPhone
Contact your carrier.
