I wanted to use my old iBook G3 today, and it appears that the DC in board is missing (if that affects it, let me know), and I have to reset the PMU every time i boot it with a charged iBook battery. Why is this?

Ok this is a snow ibook It seems like a common problem for snow iBooks
darn... Will it effect on how long I can keep it for? Before it craps out? Also it doesn't want to boot into os x, but os 9 has no problem
it should not but I suggest you replace the DC in board as soon as possible
