Q: How do I backup and transfer data from an iBook G3 or PowerBook to a newer MacBook?

I have an old iBook G3 Snow with much valuable data on it that I wish to keep, as with an even older PowerBook. I have a 1TB external drive, but can't seem to transfer the data given that thewooded devices do not have Time Machine. Please Help!!! Thanks!

iBook, Mac OS X (10.2.x) , Mac OS X 10.2.8 (6R73)

Drag the data to that drive in the Finder, and from there to the new computer the same way. If you choose to use cloning software on the old computers(it can back up the entire OS, which drag-copying doesn't), you'll still need to use the Finder to copy your documents to the MacBook.
