Does Yosemite 10.10.4 hamper video playback?

I received the recent update of Yosemite this month. Today, when I tried to play various videos (YouTube, emailed video, etc) they won't play right. They start then stop; pause for a long time, then do the same thing, always moving ahead but in fits and starts.

And why on earth is there no Mac 10 software available???????????

The system pretty much forces me to lie.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), More RAM added

What do you mean no Mac 10 software available? Have you checked http://www.roaringapps.com/ and the Apple App Store?

Also you should post questions about Yosemite in the Yosemite forum:

Classic has nothing to do with Yosemite.

As for Youtube video issues, you probably have some memory resident program that is giving you problems, or you have not gone to Adobe and downloaded the latest Flash.

Etrecheck might be able to tell you if any memory resident program is blocking you. You should not run any system maintenance tools except backing up, and only backup when you aren't doing anything else. I would repost in the Yosemite forum the Etrecheck results if you are uncertain what may be slowing you down.
