how do I keep my actions/animations when I replace a source file/media in keynote.

Also related, how to keep actions/animations when I group objects and media?

As I create very complex presentations sometimes is necessary to group items and when I group them all the animations get deleted.

Same happens when relinking or replacing a media file from external source ie: a photo, or a movie

For both examples use the following procedure:

select the original object on the slide

Format > Copy Animation

select the new object; Format > Paste Animation

delete the original object
