Q: Family sharing notification of gift card

My question is in regards to notifications to the family organizer

Does the Family organizer get notified if a family member adds a gift card and on in-app purchases?

iPad Air, iOS 8.4

Howdy aquabluu,

If a user is part of a family group and Ask to Buy is turned on for that user, the family organizer or designated approver is notified of any purchase or free download made by that user, including In-App Purchases. Adding a gift card does not trigger a notification. See this article - Request and make purchases with Ask to Buy
