messages transfer back to iphone after a complete reset and restore?
I need to do a complete reset on my iPhone and then restore it using an iTunes backup; will my current messages be put back on my iPhone?
iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.3

I understand that you need to restore your iPhone and are concerned about your messages. When you restore your iPhone from your iPhone’s backup, your messages will be restored. The only scenario where your messages would not be restored from a backup is if you restore an iOS device from a different type of iOS device, for example restore an iPhone from an iPad backup.
