Mac book air was restored to factory settings. Attempts at internet recovery returns error message" 1005F"

I downloaded system recovery assistant software on a thumb drive and tried use it on the macbook but all i get is a blank screen.

Please what can I do. The original operating system was OS X

I have same error 1005F message after deleting contents of macbook pro running yosemite (the current version as at July 2015). The is a exclamation mark over a globe. i suspect that there is not internet connection hence it cant commence OS installation.


Will a gigabyte cable solve the issue ?. Need to purchase an special converter for that (thunderbolt to gigabyte)
