Q: iCloud storage

i have an iPhone 6 & an iPad air2. I have 5G storage. I do auto backup on the iPhone and manually backup my iPad. Yesterday I had only 515 Mb of storage left. The only thing using a lot of space is photos. I have photo stream and photo sharing on. I deleted more than half of my pictures. Today I have 495 Mbs left. I have 582 photos being backed up. I have no idea why I'm out of storage. The other things on are mail, which uses very little , contacts, Safari , calendars and find my iPad. What am I doing wrong?

    Hello Rainbowfayz,

Running out of space on your iCloud storage is never fun. But to make sure we are on the same page, you want to see what is taking up all that space so you can then decide what you would like to trim from iCloud. That is something I can help with.

The best place to start by looking over the article below as it has multiple options for removing content from iCloud if you need to. If you go to Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage to view what is taking up all that space. It may be that both backups are a decent size and would need to remove one of them to then perform a newer back up that is slimmer compared to the old one.
