Mid 2009 Macbook Pro just upgraded to Mavericks from Mountain Lion. Everything was looking good until I launched FaceTime, which gives the error message, "No Camera Available. To use FaceTime, connect a camera." I have a clone of the previous Mountain Lion system, taken just before the upgrade, so I can revert if necessary.
I booted from the clone, and got a black FaceTime window with a "No Camera" icon. FaceTime worked fine before! What can I do to get my friend's onboard iSight webcam back before she gets on a plane tomorrow morning?
I have zapped the PRAM & reset the SMC. No joy:(

Forgot to mention I saw that page, too. Did everything but test another user account. The Mac does not recognize the iSight cam. I no longer have access to the Mac in question, as my friend flew out today. She will take it to the Genius Bar a.s.a.p. Thank you!
