My iMac checks-out fine at the Apple Store. It works fine at my office; but, when I plug it in at home, it won't start-up properly. It locks up at home despite working fine elsewhere. Any clues you could offer??? Thank you, CaCj

Have you tried to put it on a surge protector by APC or Belkin?
Yes, I tried with surge protector and then without it. Even went to different outlets. Each time, the same problem occurred: computer would start, dock would appear, but then computer would lock-up. Thx for your help! CaCj
Any peripherals connected to your computer besides your keyboard?
No peripherals- just computer.
