How can I resize artwork in iTunes 12 grid view?

It is my understanding that Apple used to provide a slide bar to control the size of artwork in the grid (a.k.a. album) view. With iTunes 11 this feature seemed to disappear, however my grid view showed 4 rows of albums as I scrolled up or down. With iTunes 12, in grid view the artwork does not fit evenly into a number of rows. This is so frustrating. iTunes 12 let's me change the size of the artwork in Artist view and Genre view, but I cant seem to control the size of the artwork in iTunes 12 grid view. Is there a way? I sure wish that Apple would reintroduce this functionality.

There's no way to change this, unfortunately. Not only has the ability to resize artwork images been removed, but the apparently useless banner added to all playlists grabs 120 vertical pixels of the screen. I suspect I'm not the only one to submit a request via Apple's iTunes feedback pagethat this wasteful banner should be removed completely, or at least be the subject of a preference setting. I'm not holding my breath, though - I'm sure that many have similarly submitted requests to restore the user-controlled sizing of artwork images in Albums view since it disappeared in iTunes 11. Obviously, there's no evidence that Apple are willing to make this useful feature available again.
