Will downloads continue with display turned off but lid open?
I am just wondering if downloads will continue when i leave the lid to my macbook air open but the display turns and the screen saver turns off?
MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

They should continue.
Something being downloaded is considered "activity" on the computer, so the the system will not go to sleep entirely until the activity completes.
