How to connect a regular/non-apple wireless mouse with MacBook?

Hi,

I recently got a HP X3000 Wireless Mouse for my MacBook Pro 13" running OS X Yosemite. However, i am unable to pair it with my MacBook. I checked the mouse and it works fine on my Windows pc.

MacBook: Apple MD101HN/A 13-inch Laptop (Core i5/4GB/500GB/Mac OS X Yosemite).

Mouse: HP X3000 Wireless Mouse.

Please Help!

Thanks & Regards.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

I checked the system requirements and this mouse appears to only work with Windows PCs. No Mac Drivers for this mouse, either.

Not all keyboard and input devices are Mac/OS X compatible.

Most HP input devices, typically, are NOT designed to work with Apple Desktop/laptop computers.

You'd be better off looking for Mac compatible input devices from:

Logitech

Kensington

Maccally

Microsoft
