Purchased Quicktime 7 pro , saves no audio

Just purchased QuickTime 7 pro , having great issues trying to use !!

When resizing , or any type of editing it does NOT save any audio !

Ive been trying for the last 2 hours over and over and over again trying different things ,so simple question .. why when i try and edit a movie file i have it does not save the audio ...

So far im very much thinking ive been ripped off !!!

please anyone ????
