How exactly can I connect my Sony HVR-V1U to my iMac 10.10.4 and get Final Cut Pro X to recognize that a camcorder has been connected?
I am trying to import footage from my Sony HVR-V1U to my iMac, and nothing that I do is working. I have a 4 pin firewire to USB cord, and a Sony Pro Duo memory stick. The iMac and FCP refuses to recognize that anything is connected each time. What can I do to solve this problem?
