Xcode server won't add developer teams

OS X 10.10.4

Xcode Server 4.1.3

Xcode 6.4

I'm setting up Xcode Server so my team can do continuous intergration. I am following the steps in the Xcode Server and Continuous Integration Guide; specifically, the section entitled "To add a server to a Member Center team in the Apple Developer Program".

The problem I am experiencing is that, while the user interface seems to be in total agreement about adding the server to my two Apple Developer Program teams, the settings panel ends up showing: Developer Teams: <no teams>. Steps to reproduce:

1) Launch Xcode Server, go to Xcode service, Settings panel, Builds section

2) To the right of "Developer Teams: <no teams>", tap "Add..." button

3) Authenticate using my Apple ID, which is an Admin role

4) In "Add server to development teams" dialog, select both of my teams and hit 'ADD" button (see attached screenshot)

5) Observe "Adding server to teams" progress bar for about 10 seconds, then disappears

Actual results: Xcode service still shows "Developer Teams: No Teams"

Expected: My two teams show up under "Developer Teams"

Any ideas what the problem might be? Thank you for your help!

I fixed this myself.

The problem was that of the two teams to which I wanted to add the Server, I was 'admin' role on ONLY ONE. User error. 🙂

Instead of silently failing, an error message would have been nice: "You need to have Admin role for <SomeTeam> in order to add this Server to that team."

I discovered this by running Xcode and doing Prefs : Accounts, and noticing I was "Member" role for one of the two. hope this helps someone else out!
