Password input not accepted by watch

Fourth time this has happened. I usually fix it by rebooting watch and/or rebooting iPhone 6+. This time neither worked.

Is there a permanent fix for this event? Is it a glitch in the OS 1.0.1?

Remember the password on the Apple Watch is generally different from that on the iPhone.

It is set in the "My Watch" area of the Apple Watch app on your iPhone -- under "Passcode".

I had my password set in the iPhone. The issue is that the watch would not accept any physical input so I could "log in" to the watch.

Customer support had me un-pair the watch and re-pair it with the iPhone (not a quick process and be sure you have a backup available). This worked, but there must be a bug somewhere.
