I have purchased a Macbook Pro Retina 15 inch mid 2015. Sometimes it can't wake up from sleep (can't do anything except force restart)
Also, it is getting hot when I connect it with DELL monitor
how to fix it ? I updated latest MacOS

Hold the power button down for 10 seconds and the press it again.
I've done this a couple of times and it's worked for me.
I would do as already suggested when you can and reset the pram etc when you can.
