Select the contact whose photo you want to add. Tap the Edit button at the top of the contact card. To add a new photo, tap Add Photo and either drag a photo to the photo field or tap Choose Photo, select an image file, then tap Choose. Tap Done.
TThank you, however, the photos are there, but when they call me, their photo does not show up on my screen
Does this happen with everyone or certain contacts? When calls come in, does it show the phone number? If not, then it sounds like caller ID might not be enabled for the phone. If it does show the phone number, we'd need more details to find out what's happening.
The Contacts card must have the phone number used by that person to call you, or the Phone app cannot associate the incoming call with the correct person.
Thank you everyone. I think I have it now figured out. I went out to Settings and under "mail, Contacts, Calendars" I had to add my google account.
Most of the photos that are attached to my friends have come from their FB pages. I had one person that I added his phone number this morning and then added a photo of him. He called me later this pm and when the phone rang his photo showed up. (Before it was always just the person's name that would show on the screen when they called. So, I think it was just adding the google account that did it.
Thanks
