Is there an autoscroll feature?

I'm currently using pages 5.2 on osx 10.9.5 macbook (2.6ghz/8gig ram) - I want to use pages to read a long document but don't want to have to continuously and slowly scroll. Is there an automatic scrolling feature that I can initiate where I will maintain a consistent scroll downward until th end of the document. If not, do anyone know if this is possible in another program capable of opening a file format pages is capable of exporting?

thank you,

john cook.

In Pages v5.2 on Mavericks, you can open your Pages document and on the View menu, select Show Page Thumbnails. Click on the first thumbnail, and then advance to additional page thumbnails with the down-arrow key. This is effectively page after page viewing without flicking the trackpad or magic mouse, and without having to adjust the page view. Works the same way in Preview with PDF documents.

Although there are settings in System Preferences > General to always have the scrollbars visible, and an additional setting to advance a page with each click in the scollbar — in practice, there is not accurate page advancement, and page creep sets in. The first paragraph solution gives you reading exactness without adjustments.
