A problem arised on sending file by using AirDrop

I have sent a large text file(about 1 MB) from a phone to other phone by using AirDrop and it almost works well and right.

But sometimes, the sending file operation is hanging at status 'Waiting...' and is not getting out of the status for a long time.

What is the reason for this? Please tell me why this problem is occurred sometimes if anyone has already experienced and solved this problem or can give me a help for this.

It sounds like you are sometimes unable to share a text file using the AirDrop feature of your iOS device. The following Knowledge Base articles offer some great recommendations and steps for troubleshooting your issue:

Make sure to review these settings are correct for both sender and receiver:

What you need

To share content with AirDrop, both people need one of these devices using iOS 7 or later, or a Mac with OS X Yosemite:

iPhone 5 or later

iPad (4th generation or later)

iPad mini

iPod touch (5th generation)

You also need to turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. If you want to share with your contacts, sign in to your iCloud account.
