Incoming calls from one phone number does not come through. All others work.

I've recently realized that one particular phone number cannot reach me on my cell phone, whereas all others can. Also, I can reach that phone number just fine.

When that particular phone number calls me, I see no indicator/ringing, and on their end it goes to voice mail in 1 ring. Also, on my phone I do not see a "Missed Call" either.

All other phone numbers (to my knowledge) seem to be coming through just fine and I receive the call.

I can call that phone number just fine as well.

Has anyone seen this issue?

Do Not Disturb is not on, nor is any kind of airplane mode.

Both phones are iPhones. My phone is an iPhone 5c running on iOS 7. The other phone is an iPhone 5 running on iOS 8.

Thoughts?

If the number does not appear in your blocked list, there should be no other reason you cannot receive calls from this individual number. The only other thing I can think of is if you have ever used the block list with Verizon. The only other setting is Do Not Disturb, but if you are receiving other calls, then that would not be it. I know that you can set a Do Not Disturb individually on a text for an individual, but that should not affect phone calls. Check to see if you have a text conversation with this person and see if there is a crescent moon icon by them. You can see this and change the setting in the Details section of the text.

Have you done any troubleshooting? Try resetting the phone, it does not affect your data, hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone will reboot. The last thing I could think of for troubleshooting is to reset your network settings. While this does not affect your data, it will delete all saved Wi-Fi passwords. Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. After that, I would not know of any reason a single caller could not be received.

I'm having the same problem on my iPhone 6S (64 Gig, Verizon). I checked my blocked list, and the number isn't there. Like the original poster, all other numbers work fine, both for incoming and outgoing calls, and I can call the number in question just fine. Any other ideas as to what the problem could be? I also checked both the phone settings and the person's contact, but couldn't find anything that might be causing the problem.

Thanks in advance, and Merry Christmas!
