How do I make Finder search the network and find a Time Capsule's HDD?

I have a colleague who has a Time Capsule (with an HDD) connected to the same network I'm connected to. How do I make Finder search the network for it? It's password protected so I expect Finder to request a user/password before showing the contents of the HDD.

Finder/Preferences/Sidebar - do you have the items under Shared checked?

Yes. And that's part of the reason why I'm asking. Note: the other Mac has a totally different user logged on. I expect the second Mac to "discover" my Time Capsule and ask for a username and a password.
