Can't add full albums from Apple Music

I've noticed an issue with Apple Music when adding full albums to my library. If certain songs on that album are already in my music library, those songs are omitted from the album contents. As an example, I have the Doobie Brothers Best of the Doobies album in my music library -- owned the CD and it is in Apple Music via iTunes match. I had the album Toulouse Street on vinyl (i.e., not in my iTunes music library) so added it from Apple Music. When I did so, only tracks 3,4,5,6,8,9 and 10 show up since tracks 1,2 and 7 are already in my library. I'm all for avoiding duplicates but would like to be able to listen to the full album (in this case, Toulouse Street) without having to create a separate playlist. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, are there any suggested fixes? Thanks in advance.
