My old Macbook Pro runs on v10.5.8; does this mean I can't upgrade my os or browser since Mac app store requires a minimum of 10.6.6? Any other options for me?

My old Macbook Pro runs on v10.5.8.

Does this mean I can't use Mac App Store to upgrade my os,

since it requires a minimum of 10.6.6?

Any other option for me to upgrade my os, so I can access Google Drive?

Thanks.

Basically, the only option for upgrading from 10.5.8 is to click here and buy a Snow Leopard DVD.
