Q: Not Solved: 2013 MBA hangs on boot-up, then reboots. Encryption related.
This 2013 MBA hangs on boot-up, then reboots. Your thoughts? Please let me know if additional information would be helpful.
Symptoms:
With FileVault Encryption on, it hangs when booting, and then reboots. It pauses for about 5-10 seconds prior to rebooting. It does not happen every time. But, I can make it happen if I change the wallpaper when used without the monitor, shut down, attach monitor (Apple), and reboot. If encryption is off, it does not exhibit the problem.

I should add info about my prior attempts to solve the problem.
I have rebooted in safe mode and used the disk utility to repair permissions.
In regular mode, I have used disk utility to repair disk (it doesn't indicate there are any problems).
The cache folders in the three libraries have been cleared.
PRAM and SMC has been reset.
I think that's it. Problem continues.
The issue is NOT SOLVED, in spite of my accidental indication that it is.
