I got charged for signing up with a free trial.

First of all what the **** is going on. I got charged $9.99 for a free trial. How could it be a free trial if you get charged right away.

Hello,

The reason you got charged is because you probably tried to add a second Apple ID to your iTunes account. The Music App. currently only allows you to get a free 3-months on one Apple ID per device. A little complicated but that's how it works.

I experienced the same issue, and received this explanation from a Sr. Apple iTunes Support person.

Hope that helps.

NO I'm having the same problem and there is no second account or second ID. I press the free three month trial and then It made me choose between the one person and family plan. i chose one person and then it told me I had insuffiencent balance so I couldn't get the free trial. What the heck!? I have to pay for a free trial, really? That's bull crap. I was considering switching to apple music but I might as well stay with spotify because I was able to do a free trial without being charged. And I guess I'll pay for spotify not that my trial is up instead of trying out apple music and giving my money to apple because apparently I have to pay for a freaking free trial. What if I don't like Apple music? I just lost 9.99 by have the so called free trial. So Apple needs to figure their crap out. Sorry for being so rude and rather ugly but I have called Apple and they couldn't take my call. I have emailed and now this. I just want to understand why we have to pay.
