MacBook Pro Left fan not working?

So I installed Macs Fan Control because my Mac started heating up too much at times and I wanted to speed up the fan a little when needed.

When I open the app all I see is the right side fan but when I see screenshots of the app online, it usually shows both the left and right fans.

Is my left fan broken or just not making a connection with the app, because I haven't heard it working for a while now.
