Will ipod touch 5 cases fit with ipod touch 6?

Hi. So I was wondering about if I get a 5th generation iPod case, will it fit on the 6th generation iPod touch? Thanks.

So yes, cases should fit. They're exactly the same size. I think the only difference is that I don't recall seeing the 'apple loop' mentioned for the 6, but I may have just missed it. So there may be a hole in your 5th gen cases that there's no need to be for the 6th gen cases. Even in photos of the 6th gen I don't see the little button for the loop. And there's no mention of it as being in the box.

Yes. The 5G case will have the hole for the strap that can be installed on the 5G iPod. The 6G does not have the strap strap option.

For information, many posters never mark their post as solved
