Apple Music will not play on iTunes

Apple Music will not play in iTunes on my Mac. Everything is up to date. Apple Music plays fine on my phone and iPad. As soon as I select a song or an album in Apple Music on my computer (iTunes) it just skips one by one through all of the songs.

iPhone 6, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

I was hoping that it was DNS, I was using Google. Changed to Norton DNS but it hasn't worked. iTunes just returns messages saying the 'We could not complete your iTunes Store request.....'

I have exactly the same issue on iMac iTunes.


Apple Music plays/streams fine on my iPhone, when I try and play an Apple Music album on iMac iTunes it just skips from one song to the next and nothing gets played.


Any fixes noted anywhere anyone?

I spent almost an hour on the phone to Apple Support this morning.


The guy I spoke to was getting the same "issue" on his computer, but we still went through various trouble-shooting steps to try and rectify the problem - which we could not. Therefore it appears it is an Apple/Server issue or linked to iTunes updates, not necessary anything anyone has or has not done on their individual computers.


Apple is aware of it as I now have a case reference, so hopefully it will get sorted soon.
