Hello, i have the following question. i wonder why phones stop working totally when the battery is empty. what if you are in danger? it should be made possible that a piece of the battery is saved for emergency calls.

If you want to use your phone in bad situations, make sure it's not empty.

The last 10% will always be the last 10% no matter how you look at it. Are you going to stop using your phone when it has 5% in case of an emergency? Nope, so I don't think you should put the responsibility on Apple. That's your own responsibility. Like not spending your last money in case you need it. Asking your bank to "save" some money for that is unreasonable imo.

Your car maker is not responsible for an empty tank, you are. It tells you when it's almost empty after all...then it's up to you.
