Jul 19, 2015 8:39 AM in response to Templeton Peckby dmreeves417,If I thought this was an Adobe problem that's exactly where I would have gone but I don't have any problem until it gets on my Apple computer. I appreciate the self righteous, holier-than-though attitude. If this is the all you have to offer please don't respond in the future. Thank you.

Jul 20, 2015 12:35 PM in response to dmreeves417by trev1124 ,Hi
I am using Adobe flash version 18.0.0.209 on Yosemite 10.10.4
Maybe silly question but are you allowing Adobe to install in your security settings? Go into settings > General tab and put a dot in the box Allow app downloads from anywhere. Don't forget to unlock the padlock, bottom left corner. You may already see Adobe shown on the general tab as waiting to be installed.

Jul 20, 2015 12:40 PM in response to dmreeves417by JimmyCMPIT,where are you downloading it from and are you trying to install on a non-administrative account?
Note if you are not getting Flash from here there is a possibility the OS X Gatekeeper is blocking a forged install from an unscrupulous developer.
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
this is the only site to EVER download flash from, anywhere else is a crapshoot at best.
try repairing your hard drive permissions first
About Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions feature - Apple Support
otherwise if you have AntiVirus or 3rd party Firewalls try turning them off (or deleting them entirely, they are pointless on mac)
if that is not the case and permissions repair did not work you should boot into safe mode,
OS X Yosemite: Start up in safe mode
and try to install or boot from another account with administrative rights. If you do not have one you will ned to make one.
but I agree the point of going to the adobe forums is a bit hostile, your not having an issue with the application running, your having an issue with it installing in OS X, it has not gotten to actually running yet.

Jul 20, 2015 12:49 PM in response to dmreeves417by Kurt Lang,If JimmyCMPIT's suggestions don't resolve the issue, follow the instructions at Adobe to uninstall the version of Flash currently installed. Then try installing the latest version again.
