Q: mail app doesn't work in the background

Hi,

I don't get new mails if my mail app is running in the background. I have to first close the mail app, open it again and then it downloads new emails.

I've set fetch new data to push. I've a friend who also has the same issue.

Hey PranavR,

Since the Mail app doesn't automatically retrieve your email, it may help to remove and readd the affected email accounts. The article linked below details this and additional troubleshooting that may help get the push setting to function correctly.
