Hi TK,
I also switched from a PC to Mac last year, and used Qimage extensively on the PC. A great tool.
I have yet to find an equivalent on the Mac, unfortunately. The printing options in Lightroom are not as flexible as Qimage, and the printing options in Aperture are even more limited (many threads on this forum regarding this topic).
I recently purchased Aperture, and have also purchased a set of templates called "Package Deal" from Macmethod (see link below). These templates can be opened from within Aperture as a "book layout" and they have a good selection of many different photo sizes, arranged in both landscape and portrait orientations.
Until Apple improves the printing options in Aperture, I'll be using these templates.
I've also emailed Qimage to see if they would PLEASE port their program to Mac OSX, and Mike (owner) replied that most folks run it under Virtual PC. I'm not interested in going that route...
In any event, if you do find a good alternative, pls post it on the forum, as there are many others looking for the same capabilities on the Mac.
I've also heard that Image Buddy is used by some.
The Macmethod "Package Deal" link is here:
