play DVD's on a 5K IMac

Im trying to play a DVD movie from an Asus DVD player connected by USB on my IMac 5K.

I click the DVD Player and disc not supported notice appears. all my software is updated.

Are you sure that the DVD you are trying to play is in a format compatible with the iMac's operating system? Is the country code on the DVD correct for where you are trying to play it?
