Disable single hotkey (reload in Safari)

Hello everyone,

I've looked but can't find it. System preferences didn't seem to have options for Safari hotkeys. Is there a way I can disable Command+R as the reload hotkey? As someone who writes a lot online and needing to look something up in a new tab, it's infuriating when I accidentally hit Command+R instead of Command+T for new tab.

Thanks.

Here's the solution (I am using El Capitan, but it could work on earlier versions as well):

1. Go to Apple:System Preferences:Keyboard

2. Select the "Shortcuts" tab

3. Select "App Shortcuts" in the left column

4. Click "+" to add a new shortcut

5. Use the dropdown that says "All Applications" to select "Safari"

6. In "Menu Title" type "Reload Page" (without the quotes)

7. Add a key combination that you will never hit (I use Command-0)

8. In Safari go to the "View" menu, you should see the new shortcut and Cmd-R has been removed from the set of shortcuts in Safari, allowing you, for instance, to use the "Fill Right" shortcut in Google Spreadsheets when using Safari (or getting rid of an annoyance in your case).
