iPod Touch not connecting to computer

Hi,

I have an iPod Touch 4th Generation. Recently it has stopped connecting to my computer, every time I plug it in it says USB Not Recongized. The cord I use I tried with my other iPod (Nano) and my sisters iPod and both have connected with the cord but not my iPod. Any help would be wonderful
