Save videos from Mail on iPod touch 4G?

The storage on my iPhone 6 was filling up fast. I had to do something with my all my videos, so I got out my old iPod touch 4G to use as a sort of flash drive. I set up an Email account, and started emailing all my videos to it. After they were all in my inbox, I went through one by one, downloading them all, and saving them to the iPod's camera roll. "That's where I'm going to put my videos from now on." Is what I said to myself. A couple days has past since I last touched it and I go to send my most recent video to my iPod, and see that when I try to hold and save on the video, it only gives me options to "Quick Look" or "Mail." Am I doing something wrong? Is the answer right in front of me? I really want this to work so I can get it moved to the iPod. Any help is appreciate!
