I have three different iphoto and photos libraries, and each take about 35 gb worth of space. My Macbook ai only has 128 gb, so my storage is almost running out. i only have about 7700 pictures, and most of them are iphone pictures, is there a way to solve this problem? Thanks in advance

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1), null

When you migrate an iPhoto Library to Photos, the image files in the libraries will be shared between the new Photos library and the original iPhoto Library.  Only the thumbnails and faces etc,, will need extra space.  Even if the libraries have apparently the same size, together they will only use very little more than the size of one library.

    See these documents:

But it appears that you migrated your iphoto Library twice and one of the Photos libraries might be redundant.  Have you opened them in turn to check if they are containing the same photos?

You can switch between Photos libraries by dragging the library you want to open onto the Photos icon in the Dock.

Check, if one library has all your photos. If yes, then back up your computer and delete the second Photos library, that does not have all your Photos. That will probably be the smaller one.

You can also backup and delete the iphoto Library.migrated library, but wait, until you are sure,  that all photos have been migrated correctly - check if the photos can be edited and exported and do not show corrupted thumbnails or similar.

But keep a backup. If you should later notice problems, you may need the original iPhoto Library to be able to repeat the migration.
