Can't add new music to iTunes 12.2.1.16

Whether it's by trying to add a single mp3 file or a whole folder, I can't seem to add any new music to my library since the update. I don't use iTunes Match, I tried logging in and out of my apple account, closing and re opening iTunes and restart my computer; no change.
