Q: iPhone 5c screen went black

I understand that your are experiencing and issue with a black screen on your iPhone 5c. I would check to see if Screen Curtain is enabled. You can disable this by Triple-clicking the Home button and turn off VoiceOver or Triple-tap the screen with three fingers if you need VoiceOver.
