Q: iMac mid 2010 suddendly does not start anymore
Hi all,
I was working with my iMac a few nights ago, when it suddendly rebooted.
When restarting, it tried to boot, but while on the Apple white screen, it rebooted automatically again. Did this two/three times, when I pressed continuosly the power button to stop the process. Then, I disconnected the power plug. The following morning I tried to start it again, but it didn't do anything. No sound, no display. If I listen carefully to the back, I can hear the hard disk start and the fan start (not at full speed). But the iMac apparently does not even try to boot. No chime sound at all (even at low volume - I managed to lower its volume months ago...).
I tried everything: unplugged all the devices, leaving only keyboard. I replaced the RAMs with the original ones... No luck.
What can I do?
Thank you in advance,
MyFire
