Question

all callers get busy signal even though phone is not in use

my iPhone 4S will make calls but all callers get busy signal even though phone is not in use.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.6

I understand that you are not able to receive calls on your iPhone. To begin troubleshooting this situation, I would suggest reading over and working through the suggested steps outlined in the attached article below.

Amazingly, my carrier, Verizon, was able to help me solve this problem. I was able to. Phone out just not receive calls. I was instructed to make the three following "calls", *900' *920' and *73. I'm not sure which one cleared the busy signal or whether all were necessary but my phone has now cleared its incoming busy signal. I still don't know the cause but I do know an effective solution.
