The pop-up states " Congratulations! Your device was selected because we need more testers for the new iPhone 7. Press OK to participate and receive a free iPhone 6" There is no option to close the pop-up. Is this a real offer or a scam?

It's a scam. Turn on Airplane mode. Press the HOME button. Then double-press it and swipe up on the Safari screen image. Then go to Settings/Safari and tap Clear History and Website Data. You can then turn Airplane Mode off. And don't go back to the website where this happened.

I had it pop up on me as well. This helped. I did find that it was a facebook post that got me. It had a pic blueberries and jello. Healthy blueberries or something like that. Anyway. It was off of fb. Thanks for the help.
