Time machine question- How do I go in and fix this? - my message says, This AirPort base station has a private IP address on its Ethernet WAN port. It is connected to a device or network that is using Network Address Translation (NAT) to provide private IP addresses. Change your AirPort base station from using DHCP and NAT to bridge mode. Thanks!

On your MacBook Pro......

Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility

Click on the picture of the AirPort Time Capsule

Click Edit in the smaller window that appears

Click the Network tab at the top of the next window

Change the Router Mode setting from DHCP and NAT to read "Off (Bridge Mode)"

Click Update at the lower right of the window and give the AirPort a minute to restart

Close AirPort Utility
