Increase usable memory Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi all,

Please excuse my lack of knowledge regarding this topic, but I am wondering if there is a way to increase the usable memory for my computer.

Currently it only has 1.86GB usable out of the 12GB installed.

I am running Windows 7 (32-bit) via bootcamp on my (mid 2010) Mac Pro.

I have already tried selecting "Maximum memory" under msconfig Boot tab > Advanced options with no success.

Again, please forgive my lack of understanding and thank you in advance.

should be able to get 3.2GB

Uninstall your 32 bit Windows and install 64 bit Windows. 64 bit Windows will use all your 12GB of memory.
