What flickr account integration in OS X or iOS is for?

Hello, fellowes!

Quite a stupid question I have here:

What flickr account integration in OS X (or iOS) is for?

I don't see any visible result of connecting flickr account to my OS X - did anything changed?

I already had my photolibrary being uploaded perfect by flickr native app

iMac with Retina 5K display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), 2014

flickr is integrated in the new Photos app.

You can upload photos to flickr from either your Mac or iOS device.

On your Mac open System Preferences > Accounts then click "flickr" to add your account.

This way it's easier to share photos from the Photos app in your Applications folder.

If you are not sure how to share photos on your Mac to flickr, launch the Photos app then select a photo then click the Share icon next to the Search field top right corner of the Photos window.

Could you pelase clarify if all the photos from my Photo library are uploaded after connecting flick acoount to OS X?

Some "Auto Upload" folder appeared in my Flicker account in addition to a "Camera Roll", that was created by Flicker's native uploader and containing all ht photos from my Photo app library.

A wonder if these are duplicates.

Can someone, who didn't ever use Flickr's native App pelase check if their Flickr acoount contains "Auto Upload" album and Camera Roll?

Thank you!
