I can't connect my school email (google affliated) to my iphone 6

I just got a new iphone 6. I have been trying to connect my schools email (aquinas.edu affliated with google) to my phone. When I choose the google option it has me log in then log in again in my schools log in (like it should) but then it brings me to my email in an internet setting. It never actually syncs to my phone. When i use the other setting it tells me that it can't connect. What do I do???
