Please help. Can I just somehow change the broken outer glass on my 5th generation I pod touch? I do not need to change anything else everything works just fine. The U tube has you taking everything apart.

The screen on the 4G and later iPods are one bonded assembly of the outer glass, digitizer, LCD and backlight. Each parts is not replaceable by itself.
